A colt foal by Authorized changed hands for a sale-topping €170,000 during the third and final day of the Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale. Sold as lot 622 to Darragh McCarthy of Capital Stud, it is the highest price paid for a foal at this sale since 2007, and the Louis Vambeck-bred is now the joint second-most expensive foal ever sold at the sale. A colt foal by Walk In The Park brought a top price of €145,000 from Gerry Aherne during the second session of the Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale on Tuesday. Tattersalls Ireland November NH Sale Catalogue Online Now

The catalogue for the Tattersalls November NH Sale is now available online and in print format in the coming days. The 1,106 lots will follow the new alphabetical format starting daily with the letter O. A total of 969 foals, 75 yearlings and 56 mares will sell over the five-day auction from Nov. 12 through Nov. 16 with foals selling the first four days and yearlings and mares during the final session. Colts by Walk In The Park (Ire) took the first and third highest prices during the second day of the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale at Fairyhouse on Sunday.
