Racing Community Takes on 24-Hr Challenge to Benefit Racing Welfare

A total of 81 cyclists took part in a 24-hour challenge--embarking on 30km loops that kicked off at Cheltenham racecourse July 16--to benefit Racing Welfare, which supports the racing community. Originally tabbed with a £60,000, the total amount raised by the event is set to top £100,000. Racehorse Lotto Raffling Postponed Filly

Racehorse Lotto, which aims to introduce more owners into racing while giving back to charity, is raffling the ownership of a Postponed (Ire) filly in training with Roger Varian for the year. The prize includes naming rights, registering the winner's own racing colours, and all racing, training and vet fees. Racehorse Lotto Christmas Raffle to Benefit Racing Welfare

A Flat filly by Territories (Ire) out of Newbury Super Sprint runner-up Satsuma (GB) (Compton Place {GB}) will be raffled off at £10 a ticket as the Racehorse Lotto Christmas Raffle. Of the money raised from ticket sales, 20% will go toward Racing Welfare. Entries Open for Frankie Dettori Raffle

Entries for the Frankie Dettori Raffle are now open. For the winning racing fan, announced by Dettori on June 1, they will be able to register their own silks for a horse to carry in one Flat race in 2021, with Dettori in the irons. All proceeds from the competition, run by the newly launched Racehorse Lotto and supported by Racing Breaks, will go to the Charities Together COVID-19 Appeal.
