MISS ANNA (f, 2, Girvin--Miss Nina, by Empire Maker) ran headlong into 'TDN Rising Star, presented by Hagyard' Scarlett Begonia (Life Is Good) in their mutual debut July 6, and she was beaten by 3 3/4 lengths in the end. The winner took her show on the road to Saratoga Aug. 2, and finished third in the GIII Adirondack Stakes to become her sire's first graded runner.
