LTBA Elects Five to Board of Directors

The Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association has elected five members to its Board of Directors. The newly-elected Board members, who will each serve three-year terms, are as follows: Jay Adcock (158), Michelle LaVoice (143), Jim Montgomery (136), Michele Rodriguez (131), Jake Delhomme (126). MK Election Services, an impartial balloting agency, certified the results.

LTBA To Host October Yearling/Mixed Sale

The Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association's Breeders Sales Company of Louisiana will be holding a Yearling Sale followed by a Mixed Session Oct. 2, 2021 at the Equine Sales of Louisiana Facility in Opelousas, La. Chimney Rock Named 2019 LA Horse of the Year

The Louisiana Thoroughbred Breeders Association revealed their 2019 champions headlined by Louisiana Horse of the Year Chimney Rock (Artie Schiller). Originally, winners were to be announced at the LTBA Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet planned for Louisiana Derby weekend at Fair Grounds, which was canceled due to coronavirus.
