The Inglis Digital USA June Sale closed Wednesday, topped by 4-year-old filly Tap the Champagne (Tapit--Champagne Royale, by French Deputy), who was owned, trained, and offered by Pavel Matejka. Sold as hip 6 and most recently placed second in a turf maiden special weight at Churchill Downs June 18 for Matejka, Tap the Champagne brought $350,000 in a final bid from Tropical Racing.
