The Tattersalls Ascot November Sale catalogue, featuring 104 lots on the Flat and over jumps, is now online. Slated for Nov. 3, the sale comprises 35 fillies and mares in/out of training, 52 colts and geldings in/out of training, 11 stores, five yearlings and one point-to-pointer. Trainers under both codes have supported the sale, including Cullentra House Stables, Clarehaven Stables, East Everleigh Stables, Godolphin, Jane Chapple-Hyam, Lodge Hill Stables, Middleham Park Racing, Park House Stables, Urloxhey Farm, and WH Bloodstock. Supplementary lots will be accepted until Friday, Oct. 28.

Demand for horses-in-training and point-to-pointers was strong at Goffs UK's Doncaster complex on Wednesday, which reached record turnover of £5,085,700 during the first session. Of the 180 lots through the ring, 162 sold for a 90% clearance rate. The average was £31,393 (-1.1%) just down on 2021 and the median was marginally lower at 4% (£22,000). Leading the way among the pointers and bumper horses that made up the majority of the first session was Porthill (Ire) (Flemensfirth), who brought £250,000 from the buying duo of H. The catalogues for the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up and Horses-in-Training Sale were released on Wednesday. There are currently 206 2-year-olds and 120 horses-in-training ready to go under the hammer on Apr. 28. Beginning at 9 a.m. local time on Apr. 26, the breezes will take place over Newmarket's Rowley Mile Racecourse. They will be shown live on the Tattersalls website and on the Tattersalls Facebook page.
