Debut bumper winner Hollymount (Ire) (Jet Away {GB}) (lot 52) commanded the top price of £300,000 during the Goffs UK January Sale timed online auction on Tuesday when sold to Bective Stud. The 5-year-old Hollymount is a half-sister to Grade 2-placed winners Windsor Avenue (Ire) (Winged Love {Ire}) and Ravenhill Road (Ire) (Exit To Nowhere). Doncaster January NH Foal Session Moved to August

The weanling portion of the Goffs UK January Sale has been moved to the Doncaster August Sale on Aug. 4-5, Goffs UK announced on Thursday. The foal session has become a yearling session and it was transferred due to continued COVID-19 restrictions. Goffs Announces Changes to January/February Sales

Following the latest COVID-19 lockdowns in Ireland and the UK, several changes to the winter sales at Kildare Paddocks and Doncaster were confirmed by Goffs on Tuesday. The Goffs February Sale was divided into a virtual sale for breeding stock, older horses, and juveniles on Feb. 9-10 and a physical sale for weanlings on Mar. 2 at Kildare Paddocks. Figures Up At Goffs UK January Opener

National Hunt mares and short yearlings took to the ring at Doncaster on Tuesday for the first of two sessions of the Goffs UK January Sale. The session returned increases across the board, with the average up 22% to £11,551 and the median soaring 42% to £8,500. The clearance rate for the 108 horses sold was 68%.
