Will HISA Ban Lasix in All Races? Its Board of Directors Will Soon Decide

Since the inception of HISA, the diuretic Lasix (also known as furosemide) has been banned in all 2-year-old races and in stakes races. But that may be about to change. On May 22, HISA's nine-member Board of Directors will take a vote on whether or not the medication should be banned in all races. Hall of Fame Voting Panel and Procedure Updated

D. G. Van Clief, Josh Pons Named Hall of Fame Committee Chairs

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has revealed that D. G. Van Clief and Josh Pons have been named to the Hall of Fame committee as chairs of the Contemporary Nominating Committee and the Pillars of the Turf Committee, respectively.
