Susanne Afzelius has been appointed the new CEO of Svensk Galopp the organisation announced on Wednesday. Björn Nilsson, who in April announced his decision to step down as Svensk Galopp's CEO, has been appointed the organisation's chairman, filling a post vacated by Anders Lilius in March. As a result of Nilsson assuming the chairmanship, his departure as CEO has been moved forward from July 31 and is now effective immediately.
