New York-bred KID D'ORO (Lemon Drop Kid) is the first foal produced for Ron Lombardi's Mr Amore Stable out of Miss d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro), purchased by Lombardi for $50K at OBSMAR in 2011 and who crushed a field of PA-bred maidens at first asking at Penn National by 5 1/2 lengths. The dark bay would go on to land a pair of state-bred restricted stakes, including the 2014 Power By Far H. sprinting over the Parx turf. TJCIS PPs
