Schiaparelli (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}–Sacarina {GB}, by Old Vic {GB}) will race in the royal blue of Godolphin in 2008 after Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoumís operation snapped up the multiple Group 1 winner. Godolphinís Racing Manager Simon Crisford confirmed to the Racing Post that the ex-Peter Schiergen-trained chestnut will be aimed at a starting point of the Dubai Spring Carnival. ìHeís a nice horse and heës done exceptionally well in Germany–letís hope he can now move on to the international stage,î Crisford said.
