Lael Stables' CORRECTNESS (Medaglia d'Oro) was fifth after a troubled start in her unveiling going a mile on the dirt at Laurel Nov. 8. The $1-million Fasig-Tipton Saratoga yearling graduate is a granddaughter of MGSW Yell (A.P. Indy), herself a half-sister to graded stakes winners Roar (Forty Niner) and Blare of Trumpets (Fit to Fight). Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners' DUCHESS OF SUSSEX (Palace Malice) debuts for trainer Graham Motion, who wins with 14% of his first-time turfers. The second foal out of the unraced mare Southern Belle (Dixie Union), the chestnut was a $275,000 Fasig-Tipton July yearling purchase, the top priced offering by the sire in 2018. JCIS PPs
