Point-to-pointer Roadlesstravelled (Ire) (Lauro {Ger}) (lot 513) brought a session-topping £215,000 from Stroud Coleman Bloodstock and Jonjo O'Neill during the first day of the Goffs UK Spring HIT/PTP Sale at Doncaster.

Consigned by Monbeg Stables, the 4-year-old gelding was one of 15 horses to breach the six-figure mark on the day, beating the previous record of 13. Also a supplementary lot, Saunton Surf (Ire) (Sea Moon {Ger}) (lot 512A) was next at £175,000. Highflyer Bloodstock and Warren Greatrex purchased the two-for-two filly from the Millstone Stables consignment. Her price was a record for a British point-to-point filly sold at public auction.
