MONEY MOVES (c, 3, Candy Ride {Arg}–Citizen Advocate {MSW & GSP, $327,450}, by Proud Citizen), a debut winner sprinting in the slop here Feb. 15, handled the stretch out to a mile successfully Friday while besting a salty bunch in the process. Attending the pace along the fence through splits of :23.04 and :45.66, he opened a narrow advantage at the top of the lane as 'TDN Rising Star' and fellow second timer Edge of Fire (Curlin) revved up to mount a bid. Money Moves had far more to give, however, and kicked clear by 2 3/4 lengths. The winner's dam is half to champion 2-year-old filly Caledonia Road (Quality Road) and hails from the family of Grade I winners Hymn Book (Arch) and Data Link (War Front). She produced a More Than Ready filly in 2019. Sales history: $975,000 2yo '19 OBSAPR. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $52,200. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
