Pomeroy Colt Brings $625K At Barretts March

John Moynihan, bidding on behalf of Jess Jackson's Stonestreet Stables, went to $625,000 to get a colt by Pomeroy at Barretts March Monday. The half to GSW Expect An Angel (Valid Expectations) and MSP Tontine Too (Concerto), consigned by Eddie Woods, was bought for $75,000 as an OBSAUG yearling by Quarter Pole Enterprises. After the colt worked an eighth in :10 1/5 at the preview, Woods said, “He's a serious horse.”
