Lot 448, the Pierro filly out of blueblood Monsoon Wedding and one of the most highly anticipated offerings of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, lived up the talk Friday when becoming the sale's most expensive filly thus far when selling to James Harron Bloodstock/de Burgh Equine for A$1.4 million. The filly consigned by Coolmore Stud was bought on behalf of an undisclosed Kentucky-based client making their first purchase in Australia.
