National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame Launches Summer Program

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will debut its online summer program series July 15. The first program in the series is a comprehensive preview of the upcoming Saratoga meet. The discussion and analysis will be moderated by Brien Bouyea, the Museum's Hall of Fame and Communications Director, and will include the editorial staff of The Saratoga Special newspaper. The program is free and begins at 1 p.m. The event can be accessed here.

Additional Museum virtual programs this summer include:

– Museum Exhibit preview: Friday, July 24, 1 p.m. Museum Educator Lindsay Doyle sits down with Curator Victoria Reisman to discuss the new exhibitions and gallery updates that visitors can expect to see when the National Museum of Racing reopens to the public later this year.

– Travers Stakes preview: Friday, Aug. 7, 1 p.m. Analysis and predictions for the 151st running of the GI Runhappy Travers S. (hosted by Brien Bouyea)

– A discussion with Amplify Horse Racing co-founder Annise Montplaisir: (hosted by Lindsay Doyle, Museum Educator), Aug. 14, 1 p.m. This program will focus on the various careers available in the thoroughbred racing industry and what college programs and technical trainings are available.
