Montbrook Colt Shines Early On at OBSMAR

An Ocala Stud-consigned son of popular Florida stallion Montbrook, who breezed a quarter-mile in a bullet :20 4/5 (video) during last Thursday's under-tack show, was knocked down to Japan's Eishin Farm for $470,000 to lead the way during the opening third of the OBS March Sale of Selected Two-Year-Olds in Training in Central Florida. The athletic dark bay colt was bred in Florida by Vernon Heath's Centaur Farm from the stakes-placed mare My Golden Quest (Coronado's Quest), herself a daughter of Heath's MSW Golden Par (Gold Meredian) and a half-sister to GSP My Golden Song (Unbridled's Song).
