SHE'S A BOOTSY TOO (f, 3, Misremembered–Tap My Feet, by Kingmambo) found trouble a furlong into her Jan. 18 debut over this track and distance and had fully two-thirds of the field to overhaul entering the final quarter-mile, but came with a stinging late rally to drop her head down on the wire for a $62 upset. Still offering solid value at 6-1 in this first attempt against winners, the bay filly was outsprinted in the early going, but showed enough speed to race in the slipstream of the pacesetters before drawing in closer nearing the lane. In need of somewhere to go in upper stretch, the gap finally came near the inside and the filly kicked well to be along for a 1 4/4-length victory over favored Seeking Angels (Bob and John).
