Group 2-winning and Group 1-placed sprinter Pearl Secret (GB) (Compton Place {GB}), who entered stud at Bucklands Farm & Stud in Gloucestershire this year, has had his first eight mares covered scanned in foal. Those mares include the multiple French stakes-placed Kezia (Fr) (Spectrum {Ire}); and Winning Return (Ire) (Exceed and Excel {Aus}), a granddaughter of influential broodmare Park Appeal (GB) (Ahonoora {GB}).
Pearl Secret's book currently stands at about 80 mares, and he is still set to cover 15 black-type mares or producers at a fee of £4,000.
