Consistent at three without hitting the heights, Maimara captured the Listed Prix de Bagatelle over a mile at Maisons-Laffitte in July and the G3 Prix de Lieurey also over that trip at Deauville in August after finishing eighth in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches at Longchamp in May and runner-up in the nine-furlong G3 Prix Chloe at Chantilly in June. Fourth in the G1 Prix du Moulin back at Longchamp in September, the bay was reappearing after a season finale seventh in the G1 Sun Chariot S. at Newmarket in October.
