LWBR and LWBHR Ceremony Returns to London

The Equus vase, presented to the connections of the Longines World's Best Racehorse | Longines

The Landmark in London will play host once again to the Longines World's Best Racehorse and Longines World's Best Horse Race Ceremony, the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities announced on Monday. Slated for Jan. 22, the ceremony will honour the three highest-rated horses in the Longines World's Best Racehorse Rankings, as well as the Longines World's Best Horse Race. In 2018, Cracksman (GB) (Frankel {GB}) and Winx (Aus) (Street Cry {Ire}) were jointly crowned the Longines World's Best Racehorse, while the G1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe earned the Longines World's Best Horse Race accolade. The winner's connections of the Longines World's Best Racehorse will receive a crystal vase christened Equus and the Longines World's Best Horse Race award is a trophy in the shape of a proud horse head. The representatives of the winners are presented with Longines watches.
