Jaywalk strode home an authoritative winner of the White Clay Creek S. at Delaware Park Wednesday to become the first black-type stakes winner for her freshman sire (by Unbridled's Song). The crowd's second choice settled off the pace, rallied four wide into the stretch and reeled in pacesetting favorite Congrats Gal late to win going away.

Jaywalk was second behind 'TDN Rising Star' and subsequent GIII Schuylerville S. runner-up Nonna Madeline (Candy Ride {Arg}) in her June 23 debut at Monmouth Park before graduating by a front-running 7 1/2 lengths at Parx July 24. The gray filly, a $190,000 KEESEP yearling, is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner and graded placed Danzatrice (Dunkirk). Her dam produced a filly by Karakontie (Jpn) in 2017 and a filly by Empire Maker this year before being bred back to Empire Maker. Jaywalk's third dam is La Paz (Hold Your Peace), who produced multiple graded stakes winner Mission Impazible (Unbridled's Song) and graded stakes winners Forest Camp (Deputy Minister) and Spanish Empire (Pleasant Colony).
