Ed Seltzer, Beverly Anderson and Reeves Thoroughbred Racing's LOVE CERVERE (f, 3, Into Mischief–Panther Strike, by Black Minnaloushe) had several rivals to pass entering the final furlong of Saturday's inaugural Take The A Train Stakes at Aqueduct, but took flight and motored home down the center of the track to become the 174th stakes winner for her all-conquering sire while giving trainer Christophe Clement and jockey Joel Rosario a sweep of the afternoon's black-type contests on the grass. A latest fifth as the favorite in the Sanibal Island Stakes at Gulfstream Park Mar. 29, Love Cervere broke a bit inward, but was void of early speed and settled near the tail of the field behind just a moderate early pace. Shuffled back to last on the turn, the bay filly came widest for the drive and leveled off beautifully in the final eighth of a mile to just touch off the rail-rallying Hey Bertie (Kantharos). Lifetime Record: 3-1-1-0. O-Ed Seltzer, Beverly Anderson & Reeves Thoroughbred Racing; B-Ed & Beverly Seltzer (KY); T-Christophe Clement.
