Saturday's June 27 card at Chantilly has been transferred to Deauville due to the forecasted weather conditions, France Galop announced on Thursday. The first race will begin at 9 a.m. local time.
In order not to overload the Deauville turf with the addition of races not planned during the initial construction of the calendar and the programme, the Chantilly events which will be run in Deauville will be run on the all-weather (PSF), with the exception of the G3 Prix du Bois, the fibre-reinforced sand track does not offer a straight course. It will therefore be contested on the 1200m straight of Deauville.
The races and race times for Saturday are as follows:
- 9 a.m.: Lions Prize: 1500m PSF (16 runners maximum)
- 9:30 a.m.: Prix du Bois: 1200m Straight (20 runners maximum)
- 10 a.m.: Prix des Lionesses: 1900m PSF (16 runners maximum)
- 10:30 a.m.: Prix de la Fosse aux Biches: 1900m PSF (16 runners maximum)
- 11 a.m.: Prix de Saint-Patrick: 1500m PSF (16 runners maximum)
- 11:30 a.m.: Prix de Bagatelle: 1500m PSF (16 runners maximum)
- 12 p.m.: Prix de la Butte aux Gendarmes: 1500m PSF (16 runners maximum)
- 12:30 p.m.: Prix du Bois des Bouleaux: 2500m PSF (16 runners maximum)
In addition, due to these weather changes, we regret to announce that the “Oh! Races” as well as all of its activities are cancelled.
