Bidding to provide Hill 'n' Dale Farms' freshman sire with his first European winner, the Juddmonte homebred is pitched in by Siskin's trainer Ger Lyons against John Oxley's 525,000gns Tattersalls October Book 1 purchase Pretty Gorgeous (Fr) (Lawman {Fr}), a Joseph O'Brien-trained relative of the G1 Coronation S. winner Qemah (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}).

DARK LION (IRE) (Dark Angel {Ire}) comes back 12 days after a big effort at Royal Ascot, where he was just over three-lengths fourth in the G2 Coventry S. There will be disappointment in the Roger Varian yard if Shaikh Nasser Al Khalifa's colour-bearer, a relative of Giofra (GB) (Dansili {GB}), is unable to deal with five rivals which include Godolphin's Newmarket maiden sixth Future Vision (GB) (Dark Angel {Ire}), a half-brother to Teofilo (Ire) who represents the Saeed bin Suroor stable.
