The farm acquired the first-time starter's dam, Canadian champion 2-year-old & GISW Spring in the Air (Spring At Last), for $1.65-million during the 2015 Keeneland November sale. A $300,000 2024 Keeneland September grad, Chopsticks (Essential Quality) debuted a winner by three lengths for trainer Brad Cox over the Churchill Downs main track in late June. The gray handed her sire his first black-type win in the Debutante Stakes at Ellis Park in early August, but was well-beaten in the GI Frizette Stakes during the Belmont At The Big A meet Oct. 4. The third to race out of four for SW Miss Southern Miss (More Than Ready), Chopsticks has a full-brother who was foaled in early February. Her second dam is MSW Miss Atlantic City (Stormy Atlantic).
