Grade I-winning millionaire Majestic Harbor (Rockport Harbor–Champagne Royale, by French Deputy) has been retired from racing and will enter stud at Swifty Farms in Indiana for 2017. He will ship to Indiana next week for the farm's Oct. 22 open house and his fee will be announced at a later date.

Campaigned by Gallant Stables, the 8-year-old captured the 2014 GI Gold Cup at Santa Anita while under the care of trainer Sean McCarthy. Returned to trainer Paul McGee, the bay won the GIII Mineshaft H. earlier this year at the Fair Grounds and scored in Churchill's GII Alysheba S. May 6. Last seen finishing third in the GI Stephen Foster H. June 18, the half-brother to GI Arkansas Derby hero Danza (Street Boss) retires with a record of 42-10-8-7 and earnings of $1,295,814.

“We elected to send Majestic Harbor to Indiana in part due to the strength of its State Breeders' Incentive Program,” Ron Beegle, managing partner of Gallant Stables, said. “Swifty Farms is the leading stallion farm in the state and we are delighted to have him join the stallion roster at such a prominent farm in Indiana.”
