Mr. and Mrs. John Amerman bred and raced Catch the Eye (Quality Road), then sent the mare to the breeding shed. Her first foal was GI American Turf Stakes winner Stark Contrast (Caravaggio). Now the colt's half-sister, OGLE (Oscar Performance), is set for her unveiling under the care of Amerman go-to trainer Michael McCarthy. Keep in mind this is an extended female family which includes MGSW Global View (Galileo {Ire}) and GISW Gun Pilot (Gun Runner).
Vendetta (Curlin) is another homebred ready for action. Ft. Worth's own Ramona Bass watched the filly's dam Avenge (War Front) bring home consecutive editions of the GI Rodeo Drive Stakes for Richard Mandella who also trains Vendetta. A producer of two graded stakes placed runners–Venganza (Curlin) & Medici (Into Mischief)–Avenge is a full-sister to MGSW Liguria and a half-sister to MSW Lira (Giant's Causeway). TJCIS PPS

Owner Peter Brant and trainer Chad Brown tasted Grade I glory when the ultra-consistent Blowout (GB) (Dansili {GB}) won the First Lady at Keeneland in 2021. Her second foal Baliage (Ire) (Kingman {GB}) seems poised to keep the turf bloodline intact under Brown's tutelage. Of note, the homebred's second dam is French Group 1 winner Beauty Parlour (GB) (Deep Impact {Jpn}).
Gainesway Stable bred May December (McKinzie), who was purchased by Helen Alexander for $375,000 during Keeneland September. After the farm stayed in for a piece, the filly was sent to trainer Bill Mott. Concerning her affinity for grass, the first-time starter is a half-sister to GSW Noble Beauty (Kitten's Joy) and MSW Adorable Miss (Kitten's Joy). The latter is the dam of GSW Battle of Normandy and GSW Cugino (Twirling Candy). TJCIS PPS
