FanDuel TV will team up with Churchill Downs and NBCSN to bring full coverage of the GI Stephen Foster Stakes across the country Saturday, June 27, the group announced via press release.
Produced by FanDuel TV, coverage of the entire card will be available on NBCSN, Peacock, and FanDuel TV with a first post of 12:45p.m. EDT. The Foster is part of the Breeders' Cup Challenge Series, and the winner will earn an automatic berth in the GI Breeders' Cup Classic. The 12-strong card will also showcase the GII Fleur de Lis Stakes, a 'WAYI' for the GI Breeders' Cup Distaff.
“This is one of the most anticipated races of the summer, a key race in the Breeders' Cup Challenge series that will have major implications for the Classic division, and we look forward to working with our friends at Churchill Downs and NBC Sports to bring it to racing fans,” said Rebecca Somerville, senior director of production at FanDuel TV.
The Breeders' Cup will be held Oct. 30-31 at Keeneland and FanDuel TV will have on-site live coverage throughout the event. In addition to the Breeders' Cup, FanDuel TV will offer in-depth live coverage from Del Mar and Keeneland this year as well.
