Dynamic Sky (Sky Mesa–Murani, by Distorted Humor), the Sovereign Award-winning turf male of 2014, has been retired from racing and will enter stud for the 2017 breeding season at the Everatt family's Shannondoe Farm, in St. Thomas, Ontario. The former John Oxley runner will command a fee of C$4,000, stands-and-nurses terms.

A stakes winner as a maiden at second asking and subsequently Grade I-placed at two for trainer Mark Casse, the Ontario-bred won the 2013 Plate Trial S. and was third in the Queen's Plate itself while also missing by a neck in the GIII Sam F. Davis S. on dirt. Runner-up in the GI Northern Dancer S. and third in the GI Canadian International S. at four, Dynamic Sky defeated future champion Big Blue Kitten (Kitten's Joy) in the GIII Red Smith H. and finished out his career with earnings of US$1,099,258.

“From the proven sire line of Pulpit, he was precocious, versatile and sound,” said Shannondoe Farm's Arika Everatt-Meeuse. “Dynamic Sky offers breeders the total package as he is a gorgeous individual as well.”
