Duncker Elected to Board of The Jockey Club

C. Steven Duncker has been elected to the Board of Stewards of The Jockey Club, filling the position left vacant by the late Ogden Mills (Dinny) Phipps. Stuart S. Janney III was reelected to the board.

A retired partner of Goldman Sachs, Duncker is the founder of an eponymous foundation, which is dedicated to providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged children. He also serves on the board of directors of the New York Racing Association, The Jockey Club Information Systems and the Equibase Management Committee. Duncker is also an owner racing under the Jump Sucker Stable banner.

In addition to Duncker, the board of stewards includes Barbara Banke, Everett R. Dobson, William S. Farish Jr., Ian D. Highet, William M. Lear Jr., J. Michael O'Farrell Jr., and John W. Phillips.
