His Highness The Aga Khan's ERDANA (FR) (Sea the Stars {Ire}) is the first foal produced by Ervedya (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), a former Jean-Claude Rouget incumbent whose near-perfect sophomore campaign included wins in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches, G1 Coronation S. and G1 Prix du Moulin. Unveiled by Rouget in this debutantes' heat, rivals include Alain and Gerard Wertheimer's Diction (Fr) (Lawman {Fr}), who is a Freddy Head-trained full-sister to G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains and G1 Prix du Jockey Club placegetter Dicton (Fr); and Al Shira'aa Farms' Grace Shelby (Fr) (Shalaa {Ire}), who is a daughter of MGSW GI E P Taylor S. third Naissance Royale (Ire) (Giant's Causeway), from the Carlos Laffon-Parias stable.

His opposition features Godolphin homebred and stablemate Botanik (Ire) (Golden Horn {GB}), who is out of a half-sister to MG1SW sire Alexandros (GB) (Kingmambo).
