Catalogue That Oozes Quality Released For The Arqana Breeze-Up Sale

Ruling Court: has flown the flag for the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale with distinction | DRC

The catalogue for the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale, which takes place between 8 and 10 May, has been released and features the progeny of world-class stallions Justify, Wootton Bassett (GB), Lope De Vega (Ire), Sea The Stars (Ire), Dubawi (Ire) and more.

A total of 192 two-year-olds feature in the sale that was headed last year by recent UAE 2,000 Guineas hero Ruling Court (Justify), who was sold by Norman Williamson's Oak Tree Farm to Godolphin for €2.3 million.

There are seven horses by Justify in this year's sale that features a large representation of America-bred youngsters, with juveniles by Gun Runner, Not This Time, Kitten's Joy, Medaglia d'Oro, More Than Ready, Practical Joke, Tapit and more.

Not only has Ruling Court been flying the flag for the Arqana Breeze-Up, but last year's Norfolk Stakes winner Shareholder, along with high-class runners Je Zous (Ire), Columbus (Ger), Without Words and Ensued are graduates from the sale.

Meanwhile, Cathedral (GB), Dropshot (Ire), Gallant (Fr), Batal Youmzain (Fr), Carla Ridge (Ire), She's Perfect (Ire), Morena Queen (Ire), Rafale Design (Ire) and Centrigrade (Ire) have all shown a lot of quality on the racecourse and hold big-race entries.

The 192 lots catalogued are eligible for the Arqana Series, a race programme made up of five races open to two- and three-year-olds that were offered at Deauville, with a minimum overall prize fund of €1.2 million.
