August 30 Insights: Pricey Tapit Filly Debuts for Hennig at the Spa

SIXTH STREET (Tapit) commanded $525,000 as a yearling at the 2018 Keeneland September Sale. The Mark Hennig pupil is out of GSW sprinter Sindy With an S (Broken Vow) and is a full-sister to SW My Miss Tapit, who graduated in her debut, and to GSP I'll Wrap It Up and GSP Rattataptap. The bay has a good foundation of works under her belt and recently drilled a :48 flat (17/128) half-mile out of the gate in company with $450,000 Keeneland September purchase Maedean (Tapit) Aug. 23 (Click here to watch XVTV video).
Superbloodwolfmoon (Malibu Moon) blazed an eighth of a mile in the co-fastest time of :9 4/5 at the OBS April Sale before  RNA'ing for $250,000. The Rudy Rodriguez-trained filly is out of the stakes placed-mare A Story of Revenge (Tale of the Cat), who is a half-sister to GISW and sire I Want Revenge (Stephen Got Even). TJCIS PPs

Nine-time Canadian leading trainer Mark Casse saddles a pair of Tracy Farmer-owned fillies by freshman sires in the third event at Woodbine. Farmer went to $260,000 to secure SPECIAL HONOR (Honor Code) at the 2018 Keeneland September Sale. The gray is a half-sister to Gift Box (Twirling Candy), the victor of this year's GI Santa Anita H, and to MGSW & GISP Stonetastic (Mizzen Mast). Her half-brother Special Forces recently finished a solid third in the Aug. 11 GIII Seagram S. over this oval for trainer Kevin Attard.
Skygaze (American Pharoah), a $300,000 Keeneland September acquisition, wound up fourth in her debut here July 20 on the turf after taking the overland route to the wire. The bay's dam Skyscape (Marquetry) has produced eight winners from 12 foals to race, including GSW Sky Cape (Najran) and SW & GSP Sunny Skies (Animal Kingdom). TJCIS PPs
