Asia Express Tops Japanese Juveniles

ASIA EXPRESS TOPS JAPANESE JUVENILES 
Asia Express (Henny Hughes) has been revealed as the highest-rated juvenile of 2013 in Japan at a mark of 
113. A colt out of Running Bobcats (Running Stag), Asia Express was purchased by Narvick International from the Ocala Stud consignment for $230,000 at OBS March last year. The chestnut went unbeaten in three outings thereafter for owner Yukio Baba, including a victory in Japan's juvenile showpiece, the G1 Asahi Futurity, Dec. 15. Next on the list is G1 Hanshin Juvenile S. winner Red Reveur (Jpn) (Stay Gold {Jpn}) at 111, followed by a trio at 110: Harp Star (Jpn)(Deep Impact {Jpn}), Shonan Achieve (Jpn) (Shonan Kampf {Jpn}) and Will Full Bloom (Jpn) (Special Week {Jpn}).
