SOBRADORA INC (ARG) (f, 4, Include–Stormy Soberly {Arg}, by Bernstein) remained undefeated in her first stateside start, flying late to capture the Osunitas S. at Del Mar. The bay filly went four-for-four in her native Argentina last year, including back to back Group 1 wins in the Enrique Acebal S. Nov. 14 at San Isidro and the Copa de Plata there Dec. 8. Let go at 9-1 in this feature, Sobradora Inc settled third-last while saving ground under Rafael Bejarano going into the clubhouse turn. Dropping about eight lengths adrift of quick fractions–:22.69 for the quarter, :46.12 to the half–she started to advance midway on the far turn before having to tap on the brakes a bit at the five-sixteenths marker. Tipped out into the clear at the top of the lane, she flew down the center of the course to get up by a neck over Prize Exhibit (Showcasing {GB}). The winner's dam is a half to Argentinian G1SP runners Hat Socrates (Arg) (Hat Trick {Jpn}) and Refina Y Sobria (Arg) (Refinado Tom {Arg}). Lifetime Record: 5-5-0-0, MG1SW-Arg, $240,329.
