Racing for the first time since costing Amo Racing $575,000 at the 2024 Keeneland September Sale, Blanc De Blanc (Not This Time) made the perfect start at Dundalk on Friday.

In front after the first three furlongs of the mile fillies maiden on the evening fixture, the 9-4 second favourite drifted right in the straight but kept producing for Donagh O'Connor to score by a neck from Astronomically (No Nay Never).

Amo Racing's representative Ryan McElligott said of the Robson De Aguiar-trained winner, “You can see by the size of her, she's a lovely big filly. She got given plenty of time and we think she will have no trouble stepping up in trip, 10 furlongs will be no problem to her.”

“She might come back here for a conditions race towards the end of February, 40 grand over a mile. That might be the slot for her. She has those early-closing entries, because she was showing the team nice potential last year. With the pedigree she has, and with the sire she is by, you would be hoping she could maybe step into that grade and should improve plenty from here.”

The dam Wonderful (Galileo), a former Ballydoyle representative, is a full-sister to their Breeders' Cup Turf and Irish 2,000 Guineas and hero Magician as well as the GIII Dowager Stakes winner Apple Betty and the Belmont Oaks Invitational-placed Outstanding who is in turn responsible for War Front's San Marcos Stakes and John Henry Turf Championship winner and Shoemaker Mile-placed Masteroffoxhounds.

From the excellent family of the star Sadler's Wells fillies Listen and Sequoyah, Wonderful who is the second dam of the dual Stakes-placed Jutland (Raging Bull) has the two-year-old filly Midnight Run (Munnings) and has been bred to Golden Pal this year.
