The BBAG August Online Sale concluded on Friday, with Victor Ludorum colt Aktivist (lot 1) topping proceedings.
Bred by Gestut Rottgen, the winning grey sold to Lothar Grabe for €60,000. Out of the Reliable Man mare Akribie, the winner will race in the colours of Stall Siepenblick. Aktivist won a 9 1/2-furlong affair at Hannover in May.
Other lots of note included the €22,000 twice-placed purchase Duchessa (Amaron) (lot 14), who sold to Stall Bafu; while group performer Sonic Boom (Zelzal) (lot 9) made €18,000 from Andrea Diana Mayer. Intello's Konigin Ayda (lot 160) rounded out the top four lots, selling for €11,000 to Michael Dietze. The two-year-old filly has placed second twice in two starts to date.
Of the 16 lots offered, 12 sold (75%) for a gross of €141,500 (+13%). The average rose 98% to €11,792 and the median was €12,000 (+96%).
