2010 Horse of the Year Zenyatta (Street Cry {Ire}) will not be bred in 2018, according to a Thursday post on Zenyatta.com. The celebrated mare, who resides at Lane's End Farm, produced a filly by Medaglia d'Oro in 2017 and aborted a foal by Into Mischief this year.
“She continues to do well and is looking great,” the post read.
Zenyatta was retired from racing after the 2010 season, completing a career in which she won 19 of 20 starts and accumulated $7,304,580 in earnings.
