Winx (Aus) (Street Cry {Ire}) makes her eagerly awaited seasonal comeback in the G2 Warwick S. over 1400m at Randwick on Saturday and will face six other runners in her bid to make it ten wins in succession. Her rivals include three other stablemates fielded by her trainer Chris Waller including Who Shot Thebarman (NZ) (Yamanin Vital {NZ}), Grand Parade (GB) (Dansili {GB}) and Vanbrugh (Aus) (Encosta De Lago {Aus}). Regular pilot Hugh Bowman will be aboard Winx and despite the small field Chris Waller is not concerned about it turning into a tactical affair. “The more you complicate things the worse it becomes I find,” Waller told racingandsports.com. “As soon as those barriers open they jockeys get a feel for where they should be and what's happening around them. The more you restrict them, the worse it ends up,” he added. Winx will jump from stall four and is a heavy favourite given she is rated 7lbs superior to her next highest rated rival, triple Group 1 winner Lucia Valentina (NZ) (Savabeel {Aus}) .
