Angled out for his effort in early straight, the bay worked his way to the lead with a furlong remaining and stayed on strongly to win by 2 1/2 lengths from Zilbiyr (Fr) (Holy Roman Emperor {Ire}). The dam, who is a half to the GI Santa Anita Oaks, GI Santa Margarita Invitational H. and GI Las Virgenes S. winner Balance (Thunder Gulch) and more importantly the legendary Zenyatta (Street Cry {Ire}), has a 2-year-old filly by Street Cry (Ire) and also a yearling full-brother to the winner.
