Centennial Farms' 'TDN Rising Star' Unified (Candy Ride {Arg}) will stand at Lane's End Farm following his retirement from racing, it was announced Monday. The colt captured the GIII Bay Shore S. and GII Peter Pan S. as a sophomore in 2016.

“I would like to credit Dr. Steve Carr and Paula Parsons for selecting another Centennial Stakes winner,” said Don Little, Jr., president of Centennial Farms. “Unified has lived up to all we thought from the beginning when he was showcased by Lane's End at the Fasig Tipton Saratoga Select yearling sale. We look forward to his future success and could not be more thrilled knowing upon retirement, he will have a stall at Lane's End bringing his journey full circle.”

Bred in Kentucky by Blue Devil Racing, Unified is out of the Ned Evans homebred Dixie Union mare Union City. She is a full sister to the GII Demoiselle S. winner Dixie City. Unified is from the immediate family of juvenile champion and influential sire Dehere, and was acquired by Centennial for $325,000 as a Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select yearling.

Candy Ride is among the best stallions in America, and his best son Twirling Candy is one of the most exciting young sires out there. Securing the breeding career of Unified ensures that Candy Ride's legacy will continue at Lane's End”, said Will Farish.

Unified is currently in training at Palm Meadows with Jimmy Jerkens.
