Phoenix Thoroughbred III's unbeaten Dream Tree (Uncle Mo) will look to take the next logical step in Saturday's GI Starlet S. at Los Alamitos. The $750,000 Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream grad earned her diploma by a nose at Santa Anita Oct. 27, and scored by the same margin over the same rival–Midnight Bisou (Midnight Lute)–in Del Mar's Desi Arnaz S. Nov. 18. Piedi Bianchi (Overanalyze) has been knocking on the door at the highest level since breaking her maiden in August. Second and third, respectively, behind 'TDN rising Star' Moonshine Memories (Malibu Moon) in the GI Del Mar Debutante Sept. 2 and GI Chandelier S. four weeks later, the grey was last seen checking in fifth in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile fillies Nov. 4. War Heroine (Lonhro {Aus}), a dominant debut winner sprinting at Del Mar Nov. 12, is conditioned by Peter Miller, whose San Luis Rey home base was ravaged by fire Thursday. As of late Friday afternoon it was unknown whether or not the Gary Barber pupil would compete in the Starlet.
