The University of Louisville is seeking nominations for the 29th annual John W. Galbreath Award, given annually since 1990 to “honor entrepreneurial leadership that has had a significant and positive impact on the equine industry.”
Past winners of the award, named for the visionary Darby Dan Farm owner, include Hall of Famer D. Wayne Lukas, former Churchill Downs President Tom Meeker and noted equine veterinarians William Rood and Thomas Riddle.
