Demand for spots in the Goffs Sportman’s Sale means that the sale, which immediately follows the Orby Sale, has been expanded to two days Oct. 3 and 4, and the catalogue is now online. The 389 yearlings catalogued include lot 552, a Gutaifan (Ire) filly out of a sister to Group 1 winner Margot Did (GB (Exceed and Excel {Aus}); lot 575, a Fast Company (Ire) half-brother to two winners out of a sister to Grade I winner Obviously (Ire) (Choisir {Aus}); lot 652, a Fastnet Rock (Aus) colt out of a sister to champion and multiple Group 1 winner Lush Lashes (GB) (Galileo {Ire}); lot 718, an Anjaal (GB) half-brother to Grade I winner Alexander Tango (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}); lot 777, a three-quarter sister to Grade I winner Hunt (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) by Gutaifan (Ire); and lot 847, a No Nay Never colt out of a sister to G1 Dewhurst S. winner Beethoven (Ire) (Oratorio {Ire}).

“The Sportsman’s Sale features a greater selection of quality commercial yearlings and real 2-year-old types this year and, taking place straight after the Orby Sale, completes an Irish yearling sales week that is simply unmissable for buyers at every level of the market,” said Goffs Chief Executive Henry Beeby.
