Tosaki Leads Day One Of Jockeys' Championship

Japan's Keita Tosaki, for Team JRA, leads the World All-Star Jockeys Championship after the first day in Sapporo on Saturday. Tosaki accumulated 32 points for a fourth and a second-place finish in the first two legs, edging out Hong Kong's Karis Teetan of team World All-Stars and fellow JRA team member Christophe Lemaire, who are joint second on 31 points each having each picked up a win and a 12th. France's Mickaelle Michel sits fifth after day one and Colm O'Donoghue ninth, while American-based Frenchman Julien Leparoux is 12th. The World All-Star Jockeys Championship concludes on Sunday with two more races.
