The Jockey Club has purchased multiple group winner Time Test (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) from Juddmonte Farms, and he will enter stud next year at the National Stud for £8,500, with breeding rights available. Trained initially by Roger Charlton for Juddmonte, Time Test won the 2015 G3 Tercentenary S. at Royal Ascot by 3 1/4 lengths and added the G2 Joel S. later that season. He added last year's G3 Brigadier Gerard S. and G2 York S. before switching to trainer Chad Brown in the U.S. He was runner-up in all three starts for Brown this year, including the GI Manhattan S. and GI Fourstardave H. Time Test is out of the Group 1 winner Passage of Time, herself a half-sister to Group 1 winner Timepiece (GB) (Zamindar) from the family of champion Twice Over (GB) (Observatory).

Ben Sangster, chairman of The National Stud, said, “This is a great moment and we are delighted that we have secured this exceptionally good-looking son of the great Dubawi. The acquisition also represents the continued and much-valued support of The Jockey Club, for which we are extremely grateful.”

“He offers breeders a unique opportunity to breed to a son of Dubawi that had precocity, speed and soundness,” Sangster added.” From a great, proven Juddmonte family, he has all the right attributes to make a top-class stallion.”
