Test Winner Paola Queen Another Purchase for SF

Paola Queen | Adam Coglianese

The connections of Paola Queen (f, 3, Flatter–Kadira, by Kafwain), who upset this year's GI Test S. at Saratoga, were richly rewarded for that victory, as she attracted a final bid of $1.7 million to take the early lead on day two of the Keeneland November Sale in Lexington. Tom Ryan signed the winning ticket on behalf of SF Bloodstock. A $180,000 graduate of the 2014 Keeneland September sale, Paola Queen (hip 274) was campaigned by Grupo 7C Racing and was runner-up in the GII Gulfstream Park Oaks in April. Completely disregarded in the Test at odds of 55-1, she was along late to score the upset by 3/4 of a length. Paola Queen's MSW dam is a daughter of MGSW Raw Gold (Rahy) and hails from the female family of GISW Point Ashley (Point Given).
