ATTRIBUTE (c, 3, Tapit–Leah's Secret {MGSW, $1,158,805}, by Tiger Ridge), making his first start since finishing a troubled fourth on his one-mile Churchill debut Nov. 20, was in a race of his own in Saturday's third race at Ellis Park, winning off by a pole. Sent off at 7-5, the gray skipped along relatively unopposed on the front end through opening fractions of :21.84 and :44.92. He began to lengthen his stride at the quarter pole and opened up at will from there, scoring by 14 1/2 lengths in 1:15 2/5. Fault Line (Bernardini) was second. The winner's dam-victorious in a quartet of graded stakes including the GII Lexus Raven Run S. and the GII Chilukki S.–was acquired by WinStar Farm for $525,000 out of the 2007 Fasig-Tipton November sale. Responsible for an unraced juvenile colt by Candy Ride (Arg) and a yearling filly by Distorted Humor, she also produced a colt by Pioneerof the Nile this season.
